Algebra 2 You and your friend Alex are looking to buy tickets for a big concert. You know that Ticket System charges $22 per person plus a $10 surcharge per transaction. You and Alex think you can get a better deal at Max Tickets, which charges $20 per ticket and surcharges $16 for each transaction. Or Ticket Meister, which charges $25 for a ticket and surcharges $4 per transaction, both of which are also selling tickets for the event. Pick one of these two sellers, and use your knowledge of linear systems to compare it with Ticket System and figure out who has the better deal.

To answer this problem, we convert the data given into linear equations. In this case,  for Max Tickets, the equation is 20 t +16; for Ticket Meister, the equation os 25 t + 4. The worth of two tickets and a transaction for Max Tickets is $20(2) + 16 = $56. For Ticket Meister, $25(2) + 4 = $54. Hence between the two, Ticket Meister should be chosen. Comparing to Ticket System which has $22(2) + 10 = $54, it is concluded that either Ticket Meister or Ticket system is practical to choose.
