How do environmental changes affect both living and non living things in a watershed? What conclusions can you make based on your on your observations

Answer :

Answer: In the lab activity, I used a virtual watershed to demonstrate how pollutants enter and flow through the watershed. I constructed food chains to show how biotic factors are related. I also predicted and modeled how human activity affected the biotic factors in an ecosystem. Based on my observations, I can conclude that biotic and abiotic factors are closely linked and that human activity that changes the environment, like pollution, can affect all the other parts of an ecosystem in a negative way.

Explanation: it the sample response

A drainage basin is any area of land where precipitation collects and drains off into a common outlet, such as into a river, bay, or other body of water.

In an ecosystem, there are two types of a factor in there which makes them functional, these factors are as follows:-

  • Abiotic factor
  • Biotic factor

The watershed affects the biotic factors in several ways:-

  • Restricted movement
  • Confined space.
  • Less population

The watershed affects the abiotic factors in several ways:-

  • Less variation
  • Less chance of evolution.
  • More aquatic species.

These are the changes that occur in the watershed.
