(-8)-3(-6) is....??

Let’s take out the parenthesis first.

Which would be -8-3(-6)

To solve this equation, you must do the multiplication first.

Between -3 and (-6), there is an ‘invisible’ multiplication sign(I just say that because that’s how I learned it).

Anyways, -3 times -6 would be 18.

So let’s take the 18 and replace it with the ‘-3(-6)’ next to -8..

Which would be -8+18.

Then the answer would be 10.
