How would you feel if a nurse came in your hospital room to take care of you and she/he had several facial piercings and a tongue plercing? (This has absolutely nothing to do with people who choose to have those kind of plercings. That's fine. Remember we are talking about people assigned to provide professional and knowledgeable care to you or your family)
I would feel absolutely fine, as long as she was following hospital practices and practicing basic hygiene in the workplace. Having a piercing does not effect ones ability to provide healthcare.
