Data: In the data section, you will not only include your frequency table and graph, but you will also include a written description of the results. Since this is the "data" and not the "conclusion," just talk about the sample population in this section. Answer the question "What were the results of the survey?" in this section.

Conclusion: Now you will have a written description of the generalizations that you made from looking at the data. This is where you would use language that applies the results to the larger population. You can use language like "On the basis of these findings." or "The results of this survey suggest." You should also include some mathematical examples of how the data applies to the larger population.
