Jodie bought some shirts for $6 each Marge bought some shirts for $8 each the girls spent the same amount of money on shirts what is the least amount they could have spent

Answer :

You have to find the LCM of both 6 and 8. The LCM of 6 & 8 is 24 because 8*3 is 24. 6*4 is 24, also. That is the LCM of both, so they both spent $24.
$28 because they both most likely got the same shirt of each price
