Milana said she spent 5 1/2 hours doing reading, math, and science this week. Michaela said that she spent 2 1/2 hours doing reading, math, and science this week. Who is correct? 5/6 = 50 minutes     3/4 = 45 minutes   1/2 = 30 minutes       50 minutes for 3 days could be drawn out as 50 times 3 which is 150 minutes  45 times 2 =90 minutes   30 times 4 = 120 minutes. 120 + 150 + 90 = 360   360 divided by 60 = 6  6hrs micheala worked.
timetaken=number of days tiems hours per day
reading=5/6 times 3=5/2
science=3/4 times 2=3/2
math=1/2 times 4=4/2

total is 5/2+3/2+4/2=12/2=6 hours total

Milana said she spent 5 and 1/2 hours total
she is wrong

Michaela saiid she spent 2 and 1/2 hours
she is also wrong

they both made mistakes somehow, I don't know how
