Someone who is not paid for performing duties is a gratuitous agent, it´s a person who does not receive any compensation for their services no matter how hard it is or how much time they invest. Services to clients free of charge, for example, a lawyer who does not charge for providing their professional services, they are liable if they commit gross negligence, but not ordinary negligence.
