So first, we are going to convert all these fractions into twelfths since they can all be added when the are in that form: 3/12, 4/12, and 2/12.
A. 3/12 + 4/12 + 2/12 because they ate it together is it is addition.
B. These bits altogether add up to 9/12, but reduced it is also 3/4.
C. Since we must find out how much is left then we must subtract 1 - 9/12.
D. 12/12 - 9/12 is 3/12, reduced as 1/4.
