Valentine’s day promotes kindness, goodwill and affection between people because it is the celebration of love and romance. It is the day where people exchange cards, candy, and gifts to their special “someone”. This day is originated from a Roman holiday. It was to celebrate the feast of Lupercalia and Emperor Claudius II, they executed two men named Valentine. Their martyrdom was honored by a catholic church with the celebration of St. Valentine’s day.
