C = 2  • 3.14 • 1.25
C = 6.28 • 1.25
C = 7.85 ft

To find how many times the tire will rotate divide the number of feet in a mile (5,280).
5,280 ÷ 7.85 = 672.611464968

a. Circumference = 7.85
b. The tire will rotate approximately 673 times in one mile.
