A capacitor c1=1.0 micro F charged upto 110 V is connected in parallel to terminals of a circuit consisting of two uncharged capacitors connected in series and possessing capacitance c2=2 microF cC3=3microF.what charge will flow through the connecting wires

For series capacitors:
1/c = 1/c2 + 1/c3
or, Cseries = c2 * c3 / (c2 + c3) = 2*3/(2+3) = 1.2 micro farad

This net Cseries is now in parallel with c1, so for capacitors in parallel:
Ctotal = Cseries + c1 = 1 + 1.2 = 2.2 microfarad

Now, we know for a capacitor:
q = V * C

So, charge flowing = 110 * 2.2 = 220 micro columb
